So thankful to have attended this lovely Foraged and Fern workshop, hosted by Betsy Blue and Beyond the Briar! This event was a breath of fresh air and a much needed artistic outlet during this busy season of life! I brought my sister along, which made it all the more special; we giggled, sipped hot cider, ate delicious treats by Nutritional Foodie, and socialized with other creatives from Southern Oregon! Eden Vale's large barn, styled with Minery Rentals and accent calligraphy by Lacey Letters was absolutely to die for - I couldn't help but snag a few film images with my Contax!
This July, we packed up our all-wheel-drive and drove out Dead Indian, just outside of Ashland, OR. Our family, including the pups, spend time splashing around in this peaceful park-like lake and basked in the summer sun! No cell reception, no modern-conveniences, and just my film camera - what a gift this was! Each time I use my Contax 645, I am amazed at the texture, colors, and details that this timeless format creates - beautiful focus on creating deliberate artwork, executed with patient precision.
